JoyFully Read!'s Fall Reading Classes are packed with fun friends, games, laughs ...

Busy getting ready for a new look!

We have been meeting with different "creative" companies who specialize in marketing and branding and such. We just signed a contract yesterday with our final decision. They are called InkBerry Studios, Creative works by Danaye Shiplett. She is based in Alabama. I am really happy to have run in to her accidently on purpose. We are so excited to begin the journey! I will now be sure to up-date the blog with some more new "family reading" ideas soon. Thank you for your patience.

Proper Pencil and Sitting Position

Watch to be sure they are holding their pencils properly and sitting with their feet on the

floor, proper posture, with one hand supporting their paper (depending if they are right or left

A friend of mine just emailed me and asked how much we charge for testing and tutoring here at JoyFully Read! Sometimes when we get busy around here, we don't prioritize calling around to compare our prices. This was her excerpt:

"It was interesting, because I was near ------  learning center, and went in there
to see what they do and how it works...they say they test them for 190.00 (half
price sale is now..90.00), and they charge 50.00 a session."

In getting ready for summer, I want to encourage all JoyFully Read! families to schedule family reading time in for fun. I will have a very fun reward for the family that reports to me with the most reading minutes from June to the first of August. I will post updates- articles from others who have had great experiences reading together as a family, and different tips on how to make it fun! On July 31st, I will collect results and announce the winning (YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS) family on Aug. 2nd.

Summer Camp 2011 Reading Classes...

We have decided to break over summer with no classes. We will be doing personal tutoring only. Register now for tutoring before all of the spaces fill up after this word gets out!
